Forschungsschwerpunkt: Virusepidemiologie (Beschreibung in englischer Sprache)

We work on the sourcing of emerging viruses from animal reservoirs with a focus on the evolutionary biology of hepatitis viruses. Our work is executed within the German Centre of Infection Research (DZIF) and strongly related to field work in Europe, Latin America and Africa. We count on long-standing scientific cooperation with German and international partners.
